Don’t worry... It’s the graphic nav buttons above. You can safely click “allow” if you like.

In over ten years of web design, this is the best host I’ve found.       ~Morgan

When I finally got the server problems sorted out, and got a confirmation that they would, in fact, be fixed, the registrar told me it would take 12 to 24 hours to begin, and as long as 10 days to be complete.  “Time to repeat and reiterate that email I sent ages ago...” I told myself. “...And tell everyone to empty their inboxes and expect a few days downtime.”

Less than an hour later, I tried the old page, and it was down.  About four minutes later, the first Stagholder had IM’d me to tell me her email wasn’t working.    >_<

I’m going to do what I can in talking to the company that used to host the site, to see if I can get the old inbox items back... But I’m not holding my breath. The fact that we left for another server will probably not endear me to them.

I’m sorry... Not work... not work... not work... then work, very suddenly.

Now... On to the email instructions, such as they are.

To access your StagHold Email:

If you chose forwarding...

Check your email the way you reguarly would. Staghold email will show up there.
When you send email, it will show your regular email as your return address.

If you chose mailbox and use Outlook (or whatever)...

Your Username or login is the wierd number I gave you... m36264091-something.
Your password, you should know. Contact me if it needs to be reset.
Your pop server should be: pop.1and1.com
You might have to make sure your outgoing server requires authentication and the port is set to 587.
When you send email, it should show your staghold email as your return address.
It should be remembered, if you get in trouble, that I have no real idea what any of this means. Contact someone in the house who knows this shit. Dominic, Bellana...  Who else?

If you chose mailbox and want to use webmail (even if you normally use Outlook (or whatever)...

  First, go to webmail.1and1.com (link)
Your can login your email address as a username.
Your password, you should know. Contact me if it needs to be reset.
Boom. Bob’s your uncle. Check your email, send email, whatever.
When you send email, it should show your staghold email as your return address.
You can check and send email this way from any computer anywhere on the ‘net.

Don’t have StagHold email yet, and want it?

Email me at herself @ staghold.org (Sorry... I’m going to ask you to type it out yourself... I don’t want the spam.)
  Tell me the following:
  A) who the heck you are,
  B) what email address @staghhold.org you want.
  C) what password you’d like.
  D) if you’d like a mailbox (uses outlook, eudora, webmail, whatever) or a forwarding address (goes to your other address)
  E) if forwarding, (or as a backup to a regular mailbox) which email address you want it to forward to. If you leave this out, I’m going to assume the one you sent the request from.
  F) if you want virus protection (yes or no) or spam filtering (no, light, medium, or spanish inquisition) Note: I have not tested of these features yet, I don’t know if, how, or how well they work.
  G) there is, for now, NO item G.
